Danang Han River
Corridor Master Plan
Da Nang, Vietnam
The Master Plan of Danang’s Han River Corridor was an integrated and targeted effort to transform the Han River waterfront into a global destination and catalyse city development by enabling a creative ecosystem for entrepreneurship and ideation, community engagement, and nature rejuvenation. Strategies and innovations spanning land use revision and planning to urban design and detailed landscape design were engaged to achieve this vision.
Seven distinctive zones were identified: Global, Creative, Heritage, Park, Adventure, Culture and Productive Zone. Each zone embodies a distinctive character that guides the revision of land uses, urban and landscape design, and themes in each district. As such, this master plan is envisioned to energise the Han River and recharge its significance as the city’s core waterway. It will offer a variety of living, working, cultural, leisure and nature environments and experiences along its 52km length. Anchored in such an iconic waterway, Danang will become an attractive destination for all - from locals to individuals and families to businesses.
The overall hydrology, landscape, road and transit systems were carefully studied during the review process, with the final master plan ensuring holistic city planning along the Han River. Review and Enhancement of Dubai Silicon Oasis Master Plan
Dubai, UAE
In 2015, the Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) engaged CPG Consultants to reassess and improve its master plan to align with the DSO Strategy 2021. This strategic framework aims to propel DSO's growth over the next seven years, with the objective of establishing Dubai Silicon Oasis as a leading hub for cutting-edge electronic innovation, design, and development globally.

The updated master plan introduced a fresh development approach, positioning DSO as "The Place to Be," "The Place to Work," "The Place to Learn," and "The Place to Play." This transformation was achieved by fostering distinct communities through unique district characters, facilitating job opportunities closer to residential areas by redistributing land use and projected gross floor area (GFA), leveraging the new metro station, integrating open spaces to enhance land value, and improving connectivity between different districts within DSO.

Additionally, the plan incorporated an alternative mobility network, including automated vehicles, to serve as a testing ground for advanced innovation within DSO.
